Many Hearthstone cards include special effects that make them stand out from the rest. The Knife Juggler is exactly that kind of card and a worthwhile addition to your collection.
At 2 mana to summon this minion, the Knife Juggler’s little gnome body with 2 attack / 2 health is nothing special. This fellow’s skill with knives is what makes him dangerous. The card’s effect deals 1 damage to a random enemy for every minion you summon.
The strength of Knife Juggler is it rewards you for something you will likely do anyway: summoning minions. In the first few turns of a Hearthstone game, many minions have only 1 or 2 health. If the knife throw helps kill off another minion, you can gain an early game advantage.
The Knife Juggler plays well with others. You will also get a 1 damage knife thrown for minions summoned by Battlecry, Deathrattle or other card effects.
The Knife Juggler works best in an fast, aggressive deck with many low cost minions. If this kind of play style matches your tastes, craft this card!
When building up your Hearthstone card collection, you will find a few all around great cards. These cards are just plain useful and will find their way into many of your decks. The Azure Drake is near the top – if not at the top – of this elite list!
At 5 mana to summon this minion, the Azure Drake’s 4 attack / 4 health body is solid but a little weak for its mana cost. However, it more than makes up for it with 3 extra effects:
Battlecry: Draw a card
Most decks benefit from including cards to draw more cards. More cards in hand equals more options!Since this effect is a Battlecry, you draw your next card immediately after you play Azure Drake. Later in the game when you have 8-10 mana available, you can fish for the next card in your deck and potentially cast it same turn.
Spell Damage +1 All player class card sets include damage dealing spells. While you might not chose Azure Drake for its spell damage increase alone, it is a great extra most decks can put to good use.
Minion Type: Dragon
The Azure Drake’s minion type may not matter to most decks. However if you’re building a “dragon deck”, the Azure Drake is a must have card!
As a “rare” rarity card, Azure Drake can be crafted for a fair 100 dust. As a neutral minion, all player classes can put Azure Drake to use. Finally, the Azure Drake is part of the Classic card set so it will always be valid for Hearthstone’s Standard and Wild game play formats. It’s a great value.
If Azure Drake isn’t in your collection, craft this card!
